Racing meanwhile know a defeat could leave them bottom of the table.    Saturday also sees Athletic Club Bilbao entertain Atletico Madrid. Morale is high in both camps and Atletico Madrid are being talked about as possible title contenders after winning the European Supercup and beating Sporting Gijon 4-0 on matchday one.    The San Mames Stadium will be a good testing ground to see just how serious Atletico' s candidacy really is.    Sunday sees Malaga travel to Zaragoza aiming to forget their opening day setback. Sporting Gijon plays at home to a Mallorca team that performed well against Real Madrid, while Getafe and Levante look for their first points of the season.    Getafe lost its opening game away to Espanyol, while Levante was thrashed 4-1 at home to Sevilla.    Sevilla meanwhile will be favorites at home to a dour Deportivo la Coruna team. A win for Sevilla would help the club forget its early exit from the Champions League.    Villarreal entertains Espanyol in what promises to be an entertaining game, while the second round of games ends on Monday when Almeria entertains recently promoted Real Sociedad in a game that sees Almeria coach Juanma Lillo pit his wits against one of his former clubs.
TOKYO, Feb. 20 () -- Japan's Kansai Electric Power Company (KEPCO) is going to shutdown its last nuclear reactor for a regular check, the No. 3 reactor at Takahama nuclear plant in Fukui, central Japan, late on Monday afternoon.KEPCO said that the shutdown operation would be completed by Tuesday morning. With this shutdown, there are only 2 operating commercial reactors remained out of 54 all over Japan.According to the local media, the remaining two reactors, the No. 6 reactor at Tokyo Electric Power Co.'s Kashiwazaki-Kariwa plant in Niigata Prefecture will be offline on March 26. The No. 3 reactor at Hokkaido Electric Power Co.'s Tomari plant in Hokkaido will be suspended in late April, both for regular maintenance.KEPCO called on the houses and companies in the region to cut down 10 percent of their power suing than last year for the reactor suspension.The Japanese government will ultimately decide on whether to resume the reactors which are being checked, but it also needs the approval of the local governments where the reactors locate in.The local governments are urging the central government to set new safety standard for nuclear power plant based on the investigations on the nuclear cries last March.
