KING BLACK DRAGON GUIDE - PWNXILE STYLE-


As you may have noticed, the KBD in PwnXile is different than the one in the official game.

It seems to hit less, allowing a well prepared combatant to engage it three to four times before having to bank for supplies. Below is a guide on how to tackle this beast.


-Reccommended Stats-

99 Attack

99 Strength

99 Defence

99 Hitpoints

95 Prayer (Turmoil)


-Equipment-

Head - Dh, Torags, or DFH

Torso - Dh, Torags

Legs -Dh, Torags

Feet - Dragon Boots

Hands - Barrow Gloves or Dragon Gloves

Weapon - Whip or Anchor

Shield -DFS

Amulet - Fury or Glory


-Inventory-

1 Super Attack potion

1 Super Strength potion

1 Super Defense potion

1 DDS+ or DDS++

16 Saradomin Brews

4 Super Restore potions

4 Manta Rays, Tuna Potatos, or Sharks


-How To Get  There-

Open your spellbook and click on "Boss Teleport"

Select King Black Dragon (wild)

Make sure you pray mage when you teleport, as you never know when there might be PKers waiting on you.

Go Down the ladder, and thats it!


-Tactic-

The KBD is non agressive, so you have plenty of time to pot up.

Drink a dose of your superset and pray mage and turmoil, avoiding magic damage while your melee gear absorbs the melee and range damage. Switch to your DDS and engage the KBD by using all your specs on it, because your spec bar will be fully refilled when the next KBD spawns. Switch to your main weapon after your spec bar is empty and continue attacking the KDB, dinking saradmin brews and super restores while keeping an eye on your prayer level.
